The Nike Pegasus Trail is a great all-rounder. It is equally as comfortable on the road as it is on the trails. With a medium stack height, a decent amount of cushioning and a 10mm heel-toe offset, it is a shoe that I think most runners will find quite comfortable. It doesn’t have a rock plate, but it doesn’t really feel like it needs one, as there is a decent amount of underfoot cushioning.
The lugs on the sole of the shoe are of medium depth, which means it is great on dry runnable trails, but it won’t have as much grip as the more specialist trail running models on slippery, wet or particularly technical trails.
